After finishing a Fine Arts and Masters in Design with the major in Branding, Sanya created a destination wedding planning brand which led her to start the Ellwed Magazine, all while living in a foreign country!
It was while working as a destination wedding planner, when she realised the niche gap in this market and Ellwed was born. Ellwed is the first international boutique magazine for destination weddings in Greece. Available digitally and in bespoke print. A platform providing information and inspiration to all the brides who want to get married in Greece and wedding professionals who want to work there.
She is a regular contributor to the International Trend Report by Weddings Academy. Sanya’s interviews were published on different blogs, magazines and newspapers, along with the expert advice articles on destination wedding trends.
Ellwed cover shoots were featured in numerous major wedding blogs like Green Wedding Shoes, Martha Stewart Weddings, Wedding Chicks, Ruffled, B. Loved, and many other blogs. Among others their shoots were featured in the book Seasons of Yes as well as the International Trend Report.
Sanya believes in community over competition and helping fellow creatives achieve their goals and potentials through multiple outlets such as the Ellwed Blog, Magazine, Treasury and Ellwed Talks Podcast! She strives to grow and elevate the Destination Wedding Industry as she believes that beautiful and successful events are in everyone’s best interest.
