Monique’s passion for events started at an early age in
restaurants and catering and she finally found her feet when she
started working for Willowdale Estate in January of 2012. For
several years she has worked with hundreds of couples to create and
execute memorable events in her roles as Event Coordinator,
Planning and Production Manager and Director of Events. Most
recently (you heard it here first!) she has accepted the position
of Vice President of Operations, ensuring that the day-to-day
operations of both properties run with utmost efficiency and the
highest level of customer service and hospitality.
Monique will be sharing her insight on ‘How to Advocate for Yourself Throughout Your Career.’ From position to position, Monique has found a way to advocate for her value within her company over the last 7 years. She will talk about the importance of learning how to advocate for yourself and explain how it can open up opportunities that you didn’t even think could happen for your career.
